BRIEF BIO:

I've been in sales since 1982.  Besides sales I have a well rounded self taught background in computers.  I've done computer software and hardware sales, setup, software design, and support.  I started programming with Q & A for MS-DOS (yes you can laugh) and then moved to MS-Access databases.  I started using Access 2.0 back in early 1995.  As you can see I'm also a webmaster. For over two decades I've been part of a family owned business that supplies security products to corrections facilities, courthouses, casino's and corporate America.  I handle the phone support, company web site, company network, and onsite installations .

I got into home video editing sometime around 2006, and now it's my main hobby. This hobby and my day job has also lead me in the direction of creating software tutorials. Be sure to also check me out on YouTube at www.YouTube.com/KenInGilbert Unfortunately, because I use mainstream music for my home videos I can't post them online. It seems it is ok to show them to a hundred people in my home, or mail DVD's around the world to family and friends to watch, but to avoid copyright infringement I can't post them on YouTube. So this web site gives me a medium to share them. I also produce product videos for our company.

Around Christmas 2010 I decided to buy my first remote control helicopter. Whie the first one I picked had the cool factor it was short on replacement parts. It seemed that the only parts you could buy were never the ones that would commonly break. So I visisted a few hobby stores and discovered that they all carry the same main brand and models. And even the tiny spare replacement part was in stock. If you're looking into this yourself, then the Blade 120 SR is the one to go with. It spins in place, goes up and down, and even banks. You can see it in action here.

MY PASSIONS:

My teenage daughter Mariah.  The Photo Gallery tells it all!  We like to go camping which includes our ATV Quad riding.
